Lost 2014 Tour: Echoes of Nigeria
The Waialua Sugar Mill was our third stop of the day. Several of Mr. Eko's flashbacks scenes in Nigeria were filmed in this area. It was an operational sugar refinery for about a century, finally closing in 1996. The mill is now a bit of a general tourist stop selling shaved ice and various locally-made products.
