Although the concept for the Kate figure is pretty cool, unfortunately the final result doesn't quite live up to its promise.
The "count-to-5" banyan tree scene theoretically seems to be a good choice. However, we end up with a figure obscured from most directions by what look to be bamboo poles.
Once again McFarlane does a great job with the body and clothing. This figure has zero mobility, which is surely meant to symbolize Kate's fear as she waits out the Smoke Monster. (Tongue is now disengaged from cheek.)
This might be the poorest facial resemblance of the bunch. A lot of artists seem to have trouble capturing Evangeline Lily's facial features, and it seems that the sculpting process is similarly afflicted.
