In season 3's "Flashes Before Your Eyes" we see what happens to Desmond after turning the Swan Station fail-safe key. At one point he turns to his best mate Donovan to try to understand what has happened to him. The London bar at which they meet is O'Toole's pub in downtown Honolulu.
During the Friday night LOSTie meet up, Ian and I couldn't resist re-staging the scene between Desmond and Donovan.
