Mission Beach

Our base of operations for Comic-Con was actually located in Mission Beach, about a 30 minute drive from the San Diego Convention Center. Although much of our time was spent either geeking out downtown or relaxing on The Barracks deck, we did find some time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the boardwalk and the beach.


On our final night we took a sunset stroll down the boardwalk for a farewell dinner. That evening featured a beautiful sunset that brought out dozens of cameras including my own.

After dinner we took a final walk back to The Barracks, sweet memories swirling about our heads as we readied for the next leg of our journey.
